We are meeting up on Lungotevere, across the way from Castel Sant’Angelo at the restaurant Terrazza Tevere. It’s a restaurant and lounge facing the river and with a stunning view of the castle as well as the Vatican dome. They also have live music all summer long.
On Tuesday, August 15th, we’ll celebrate the Italian holiday Ferragosto, which involves gathering with friends and is a time for socializing and enjoying each other’s company.

The band always performs live, showcasing a repertoire that includes samba, forró, axé, pagode, reggae, quebradeira, bossa nova, sertanejo, and more.

In the classic romantic comedy film ‘Roman Holiday,’ one of the most representative scenes showcases this location. Everything starts when Princess Anne (Audrey Hepburn) decides to have her long hair cut short to avoid being recognized. The barber invites her to a dance that night by the Tiber River, near Castel Sant’Angelo.
