Join us for “Wild Abruzzo,” a captivating hiking adventure following the path of the Dutch artist Escher. Discover the stunning Sagittario Gorges and the charming mountain town of Castrovalva, all while immersed in the natural beauty of Abruzzo.
This 3.5-hour hike is a loop, starting and ending in Anversa degli Abruzzi, just 1.5 hours from Rome. Walk along ancient trails once used by shepherds and enjoy majestic mountain views. Please note that the hike covers about 8 kilometers with a 360m elevation gain, requiring a moderate level of fitness.
All tours are conducted in English, led by a professional hiking guide, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. Participants are advised to bring hiking shoes, layered clothing, and sufficient water. Optional items include hiking poles and trail snacks.
