Coronavirus, Italy lockdown: the new self-certification form
The new form to be filled out has been published on the Ministry of Interior website. If you do not have a printer, you can copy it by hand, photographs or saved pdfs are not valid because it must be countersigned by the public official if you are stopped.
And any citizen from now on will have to declare that they are not subject to the obligations under the quarantine for those who have been found positive for the coronavirus or for those who have come into contact with an infected person. The quarantine is also for those who have arrived from northern Italy, and for those arriving from abroad.

The new model can be downloaded from the Ministry of the Interior website. It must be filled out and, further news, it must be countersigned at the time of the check by the police who have ascertained the identity of the citizen. This is to avoid having to attach photocopies of documents. If you do not have a printer, you can copy write it by hand. Saved pdf or photos on the mobile phone are not valid because the document must be countersigned by the agents, the police or the public official who stops us.
The integration with the self-certification therefore concerns the absolute prohibition of anyone who has been placed in quarantine to leave their home. It was necessary because several people were found outside their homes in violation of the quarantine obligations and risk up to 12 years in prison for involuntary negligence in the epidemic.
In the first five days of checks over 665,000 people were stopped, 27,500 were fined. Just over 1100 businesses were fined for failing to comply with the provisions on closures or safety distances.
