The Orto Botanico dell’Università di Roma “La Sapienza” (12 hectares), and over 300 species of medicinal plants), also known as the Orto Botanico di Roma, is a botanical garden operated by the Sapienza University of Rome. You might meet Queen Christina of Sweden  who wanders between the rose garden and the vineyard to tell stories. Children will be happy to have fun in an open space in complete safety.
