Be Enchanted by the Unique Beech Forest in Oriolo Romano (UNESCO site) – Accessible by train!
Together with Nature of Sal (@natureofsal) we bring you the best experiences for nature lovers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts!
Suited for families and beginners.
Together, we’ll be visiting the charming medieval town of Oriolo Romano, once property of the Orsini family, and later by the Altieri family. With a local cuisine and dialect that is heavily influenced by Tuscan and Umbrian workers that migrated to Oriolo, it certainly is a place worth visiting. We’ll be exploring a pleasant trail through the Beech Forest, where we’ll learn more about the unique properties of these graceful, ancient trees, explore a local volcanic quarry and much more!
