Join us for an exhilarating hiking adventure at Monte Catillo, right next to the charming city of Tivoli and just outside of Rome. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking views and the natural wilderness as you explore the “Wolves’ Path” or “Via dei Lupi,” renowned for its endemic wolves, the Maremmana breed, and diverse flora and fauna.
Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours, including briefing and rest breaks. This adventure engages you with a moderately difficult 8.5-kilometer trail, featuring an elevation gain of 320 meters across varied and mountainous terrain.
Guided by a professional nature guide, you’ll experience around 90% hiking with insightful explanations about the area’s points of interest for the remaining 10% of the time. The hike accommodates children aged 14+ when accompanied by an adult, provided they are accustomed to long hikes. This tour does not cater to individuals with vertigo issues.
Language options include English, German, and Italian. The adventure begins and concludes at the parking area in front of Tivoli and is conveniently close to Tivoli’s train station.
