TEIK.IT and Expats Living in Rome invite you to a fun Swap Shop & Social Brunch on Sunday, April 27th, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at La Veranda in Ponte Lungo (SAN GIOVANNI – METRO A).
This event is a fantastic opportunity for expats and internationals in Rome to connect and socialize in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfect for making new connections.
Many participants come solo and end up having a great time while forming new friendships. Don’t let attending alone stop you—our group is warm and inviting, and we’ll happily introduce you to everyone.
Where: La Veranda – Trattoria Pizzeria Enoteca. Take the Metro A line to Ponte Lungo station, then walk for about 5 minutes to Via Appia Nuova, 326.
When: Sunday, April 27
Time: 11:00 to 13:30.
Bring up to 10 items in good condition that you no longer use. Here are some ideas of what you can bring:
• Books
• Art or prints
• Home goods (e.g., decor, tools, utensils)
• Sports equipment
• Small appliances
• Board games or puzzles
• Video games
• Pet accessories
• Camping gear
• Toys
• Tech gadgets
• Office supplies or stationery
• Kitchenware
Swap them for ‘new’ old treasures and discover something special!
How the swap works:
• Bring up to 10 items in excellent condition (no broken or damaged items)
• The Teik.it team will assign each item a value in credits (1 to 5)
• You’ll get 150% of your total credits to “purchase” other items
(Example: bring 10 items = take 15)
• No clothing
What’s included in the brunch:
• Fried bombetta with 3 fillings
• Scrambled eggs and bacon or a vegerian option tbc
• American pancakes with panela syrup
• Granola with organic Greek yogurt
• Shortcrust crumble with custard cream
• Fresh orange juice
• Water and coffee
Costs:
• Buffet brunch: €20, payable directly at La Veranda
• Swap donation:
€3 (up to 5 items)
€5 (up to 10 items)
IMPORTANT:
* The focus of our events is to provide expats and international attendees with opportunities to create new connections. Due to limited space, we are reserving spots for this event exclusively for them.
* Please note that everyone must pay the entrance fee of €20 plus the Swap donation (€3 for up to 5 items or €5 for up to 10 items), regardless of whether you choose to consume the included food and drinks, participate in the swap, or the time of your arrival.
* This is a private event in a reserved area. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not adhere to our group’s guidelines, designed to create a friendly and enjoyable experience for all.
