Did you ever try snowshoeing? It’s easy, fun and together with your local expert guide Sal you will be able to explore the snowhite wilderness of the Simbruini Park in Lazio, just outside Rome.

Is this event for you? If you love to try something healthy, fun and new and take advantage of the last days of snow in Lazio, while meeting cool and like-minded people, then this event is just for you!

Where:  Campo Staffi (the exact meeting point will be announced after confirmation)
When: Saturday March 4th @10am
Time: 10am to 3.30pm (the exact time varies, depending on weather conditions and participants)
Cost: Full price: € 35 (snowshoes and transport not included).
Members of the Expats community will receive a discount of -30% (24,50€).

Maximum amount of participants: 15

Expect an outdoor adventure with amazing people from around the world, get a chance to mingle after the event and explore the wilderness around the area where the Aniene river starts its journey into Rome.

What do I need to bring?
We recommend waterproof hiking shoes, layered clothes suited for cold weather, 1.5 litres of water, backpack and dry change.
You also need snowshoes and hiking poles. If you do not own snowshoes and hiking poles, get in touch with Sal, the certified hiking guide, who can point you into the right direction (+39 351 70 60 636).

Who is the guide?
Sal is a certified outdoor guide (he is a member of AIGAE), a Komoot route editor and a National Geographics Day Tour guide at TUI. His mission is to make information about the Italian outdoors and wilderness experiences accessible to everyone and to promote a healthier lifestyle and connection with nature.
