Join us for “Rawhide – Authentic Nature North of Rome,” a mesmerizing hiking adventure around Poggio Perugino. This journey offers medium to difficult trails, covering approximately 10.5 km with an elevation gain of 530 meters. Guided by a professional certified by the Italian Association of Interpretive Nature Guides, you’ll experience 90% hiking and engaging insights about the locale, with a possible food stop at a refuge along the way.
Meet at Poggio Perugino, where the tour begins and ends. Languages offered include English, German, and Italian. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for a briefing. Be prepared for the possibility of changes in the itinerary due to weather or unforeseen obstacles, at the discretion of the guide.
Equip yourself with essential hiking gear, including sturdy boots, 1.5 liters of water, and suitable clothing. We recommend bringing trail snacks, a raincoat, sunscreen, and a comfortable backpack. Optional items such as hiking poles and sunglasses can enhance your experience.
