The Artichoke Festival is coming to Rome testaccio. This celebration will be all about artichokes grown by Cooperativa Agricoltura Nuova di Decima-Malafede.
Chefs from Arduini Artisan Laboratory will prepare Lasagna di Carciofi, Artichokes alla Giudia, fried golden artichokes, and also of course the Roman style Artichokes. In addition they will have a retail sale of the local product.
The first courses will be Ravioli stuffed with ricotta and Gricia Artichokes, the Reginette water and flour on Artichoke cream and pecorino flakes by the historic Pastificio della Garbatella Amor di Pasta, Tagliolini with Artichoke and fresh Truffle cooked by the Orlandi Tartufi company in Avezzano, while the Artichoke-scented Cacio e Pepe will be entrusted to the chefs of the Bio Agricoltura Nuova restaurant.
When: Saturday April 24 from 12:00 to 23:00 & Sunday April 25 from 11:00 to 18:00

Cost: Free entrance and you pay for what you eat or drink.
Craft beer as well as white or red wine from the Ferrante winery in Lanciano will be served.
You can also look forward to a wide selection of desserts from pastry chefs of the Mitirosù artisan laboratory will present a wide selection of fresh and express desserts made on the spot, from the variants of Timamisù to single-portion cakes and pies with berries, sour cherries, ricotta and chocolate and ricotta and sour cherries.
Tables and chairs will be set up in compliance with the regulations in force regarding the prevention and safety from covid-19. Over 1,000 seats will be set up at a safe distance. The Civil Protection operators will take care of the collection of waste and sanitizing the tables and trays.
