Hi! I’m Laurinda—a NYC-born and raised expat, artist, children’s book author, and your host. After years of dreaming, I retired early and made Italy my home. I split my time between writing, exploring Italian villages, and helping others discover the joy of Italy through real estate and travel.

I’m passionate about clean design, natural foods, and inspiring people to “Believe in YOU!” I speak both English and Italian and love connecting with international guests.

A car is highly recommended to reach us and to explore the beautiful surrounding areas. The landscape here is stunning but quite hilly—perfect for adventurous cyclists, but only if you’re a true biking pro!

Can you bike around?
See above—biking is possible, but the hills are steep and best suited for experienced riders.

How far are you from major attractions like Naples, Pompeii, and Caserta?

Is it possible to take day trips from your location?
Absolutely! Our location is ideal for day trips to agriturismos, wineries, cheese farms, historic churches, natural parks, and charming nearby towns.

Yes, Santa Croce del Sannio comes alive with festivals throughout the year, especially in August when it seems there’s a celebration every week! Plus, don’t miss the local market every Wednesday right in town.
