The Italian bureaucracy and it’s excessive red tape can be frustrating and we can help you with this. The people who work for government agencies usually don’t agree and a lot of contradicting information. If you want to stay for work, stay for fun or stay for love! Whatever your reason to stay in Italy, don’t let the Italian bureaucracy get in your way.

We invite you to join our meetings and get the information you need to know, and answers to questions you have. We can help you with the process. Our Team of consultants will be available all evening for questions. Let’s meet new people, discuss Italian Bureaucracy and what you need to live in Italy.

Our relocation consultants will be available for private or group discussions during the event.

When: Friday December 10th @19:30 to 22:30
Where: Community House Trastevere on  Via Portuense 104 (It’s a top floor large apartment with also a large terrace)
Cost: €20  – Dinner + unlimited drinks ( €25 for those that remain after 22:30)

Schedule

19:30 – Welcome drink and introduction. This should be the time that guests will get to know each other, share their interests and questions, problems and be ready for the meeting.
20:00 – Our relocation consultant will take questions.
20:30  – Dinner and more questions while eating and enjoying a nice glass of wine. The meeting wraps up over dinner.

What kind of questions do you have?

• Different Permits and the documents you need.
• Rental Contract
• Fiscal Code ( codice fiscale)
• Residency/Registration al local municipality
• Tessera Sanitaria or private health insurance
• Opening an Italian bank account
• Document procurement
• Citizenship & Immigration

A few tips and tricks to deal with Italian red tape: 

1.  Always find out from an official source exactly what you need before making an application.
2.  Double-check the hours of the office and ensure it isn’t a public holiday.
3.  Always take a duplicate of everything.
4.  Expect not to have the right paperwork the first time.
5.  Allow plenty of time for waiting.
6. Ask at least 3 people at the same question to see what the answer is, sometimes you have to ask more than 3.
7. Remember most public office works do not like their job, so make a nice approach to the window and be polite. Use some charm it definitely works.
