Dear Expat friends and community!
Expats living in Rome, is a free international community that helps people move, work, live, and network since 2001. We bring people together online and then offline to meet in real life! Instead now with “Social distancing* we are no longer able to organize events/activities due to the #covid19 #crisis. After a year of inactivity and insufficient government support, we need your help. The goal we set wasn’t reached and we are struggling with company expenses and administrative management.
We still provide free online resources for expats. The tools, such as our groups on Facebook (Expats Living in Rome +29k joined, Expats Living in Italy +13k joined, Rome Expats Noticeboard +10k joined), Newsletter, blog , and community forum, are important for people around the world. They are a go-to platform for all types of questions/interests/needs and where people are connecting. It’s a full time job to manage those resources and we might have to close some of them due to lack of funds.
So far, with the help of funds collected, 62 people from around the world want to thank you for giving them the opportunity to take Italian lessons, PMI courses, legal assistance and more! We’ve even had an online meeting with HR specialists from the UN to guide our community on the best ways to apply for a job and stand out of other candidates!
ALL OF THE THINGS ABOVE were possible with the donations, and if you like what we’re doing please support us! Any amount of donation is appreciated.
Thank you all for your kind donation and friendship
