A jump in a setting of the past, across the land of the ancient “Falisci” that were neighbours to the Etruscans. Close to the winding Treja river whose landscape is characterized by high cliffs and a narrow valley floor covered by lush woods. Moreover, the ruins of ancient settlements and two medieval villages such as Mazzano Romano and the stunning Calcata Vecchia, so beloved by hippies and freaks.

Meeting Point: Rignano Flaminio (Roma) – in front of the railway station (Via Giuseppe Mazzini).
How to get there by public transport from Rome: at Flaminio (metro A) look for Roma-Viterbo train line directions. It will take you approximately 1,5 hour to get to Rignano Flaminio (20 stops). No special ticket needed as the train is part of ATAC (public transportation provider) system.
GOING: Piazzale Flaminio at 8:30 am, arrival in Montebello at 9:05 am. You will have to get off and change the train. From Montebello the train leaves at 9:15 am to arrive in Rignano Flaminio at 9:57 am. There is a possibility of the train arriving at the station a few minutes earlier, so don’t be late!
RETURNING: For the return there are two options: departure from Rignano at 17:17 arriving in Montebello at 18 and then changing for the train to Flaminio that leaves immediately to arrive in Rome at 18:30.
The second option is to leave Rignano at 18:37 in Montebello the train leaves at 19:20 to arrive in Rome at 20:10 (this is only in the case of any type of problem during the return phase from the trekking or exceptional situations of the railway section. In fact, we plan to let our guests take the 5:17 pm train).

Cost: Adults – 20 € each / Teens (14-18) – 15 € each / Children (8-13) – 10 € each.
What to bring: Appropriate hiking shoes (mandatory!), light raincoat, walking sticks (if you’re used to them), light packed lunch, water supply of at least 1 liter, Covid-19 safety devices (mask and hand-sanitizing gel).
Dogs allowed, with leash and fully educated.
