We are planning a hike, beach and explore day at Lavinio the Riserva Naturale Regionale Tor Caldara. A splendid green space with natural Plants and animals. You get to see a very rare sites of the sulphur springs for free. Offers a quite, calm walk out to the Tor, and along by the animal sanctuary. It preserved section of cork trees which are fascinating to see up close. You can still see the holes used by American soldiers during World War II. The Tor Caldara Nature Reserve has a considerable cultural, environmental and ecological interest since it preserves the evidence of the recent evolution of the area, both from a geological and naturalistic point of view.
Does not look like there is an option to get there with public transport and we are carsharing.
